Breakfast Quinoa




Breakfast Quinoa via rachelsclevercreations

1/2 cup cooked Quinoa
2 tbs. Hempseed
1 tsp. Chia seed
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tbs. Organic pure Maple Syrup
Dash cinnamon
1 banana

Combine first 6 ingredients and stir well. Add sliced banana on top.

This recipe can be made in so many ways. You can leave out what you don't have and sub. other seeds like flax seed if you'd like. You can add 2 tbls of Almond Butter or use organic honey. Blueberries would be awesome (I accident ate all mine! Ha!) The combinations are endless!

Benefits of Quinoa:
Quinoa is gluten-free, high in protein and one of the few plant foods that contain all nine essential amino acids. It is also high in fiber, magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants.
