Yes,...I make this Italian Baked Shrimp frequently. Yes, Italian Seasoning mix (package if you were to make your own Italian dressing for salads). I melt butter, after melted, slice lemons thinly, lay peeled shrimp, add minced garlic, capers, drizzle olive oil, sprinkle half of the Italian Seasoning. Bake 15 minutes @350. I cook up linguini and pour the whole dish of shrimp and lemons over the linguini. It's fantastic. It's like Shrimp Scampi. When we take it out of the oven, we take the shrimp out and keep it warm and remove the lemons from the sauce. Then we mix in a touch more butter and some white wine and serve the shrimp over angel hair with the sauce poured over! Then we take some crusty bread and it use it to soak up some of the excess sauce! If you have to use precooked shrimp, I ...Hi Larry,

If you have to use precooked shrimp, I would mix the seasoning in with the butter and microwave to get the seasoning to soften a bit and incooperated with the butter. I would just dip your precooked shrimp in there and enjoy.

You could, also, lay the thawed shrimp in the pan and pour the warm melted butter and seasoning all over top, too. It really wouldn't need any baking time. You could just squeeze some lemon juice on top to top it off and serve.

I would think the point of using fresh shrimp is to get the flavor incooperated with the shrimp while it cooks. If they are precooked, you cannot really do that.

The butter combo would just act like a dipping sauce, then.

Hope this helps! :)4*KowBoyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535350116179602431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8939843174300902394.post-88666825875205666132013-01-27T21:36:10.083-05:002013-01-27T21:36:10.083-05:00And if you want to use pre-cooked shrimp how long ...And if you want to use pre-cooked shrimp how long would you leave it in the oven?Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11243142151169192541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8939843174300902394.post-9475659566785006362013-01-10T21:16:10.364-05:002013-01-10T21:16:10.364-05:00Oh, and if it doesn't work with the Shake N Ba...Oh, and if it doesn't work with the Shake N Bake, I would just gently "rinse" each shrimp off in the butter and eat them anyway!! I am not sure how flavorful it would be with the other spices, though. I would just try it. It would add a nice crunch. I would broil it for a minute or two, also to crunch up the bread. If it doesn't work, then you can always use the substitute Italian seasoning with the link I posted above, if you cannot find the packets. 4*KowBoyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535350116179602431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8939843174300902394.post-56940075940356510582013-01-10T16:38:48.589-05:002013-01-10T16:38:48.589-05:00Would the Italian Shake N' Bake seasoning pack...Would the Italian Shake N' Bake seasoning package work just as well or are these seasoning packages completely different from each other?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8939843174300902394.post-91009976135453025712013-01-07T12:30:06.825-05:002013-01-07T12:30:06.825-05:00I have found it at Walmart.
