Chicken, Sausage with Yellow Rice and Peas

Well, this is an all-in-one dish, which I LOVE! It is very tasty to eat, kind of addicting in a way that you keep eating it to just taste it...

Can you guess where this recipe came from? If not.... I'm not telling you! tee-hee-hee-hee.... This was my first time making this recipe. I love dishes that include everything all in one. This one was interesting... very good, yet, it felt like I could add anything to it and it would still come out good...and we just kept eating it because of the great flavor. We were all stuffed by the time we decided to be done...


Chicken, Sausage, with Yellow Rice and Peas
2 bnlss sknlss chicken breast
1 pkg. keilbasa, chorizo, or some type of sausage of that nature
1 pkg. yellow rice

1 1/2 cup frozen peas

1 medium onion, chopped

1 red bell pepper, chopped

Place cubed chicken in pot and cook until no longer pink, add sausage, onion and red bell pepper, saute until onion is translucent. Add rice and as much water as the packet of rice calls for. Cover and simmer until rice is tender. Add peas and stir, serve.
